Did I just hear you correctly?? No, I don't think I did. Let's change that around!
Instead of "I did absolutely nothing today" try saying:
" I chose to relax today."
"I took it a little easy today."
"I spent the day recharging."
"I enjoyed some downtime today."
"I took a day for myself"
"I gave myself a break today."
"I had a quiet day."
"I spent the day unwinding."
"I kept it low-key today."
"I had a day of rest."
Turn that negative into a positive. Because you DID to something! You were kind to yourself. You listened to your body and you gave it the rest that was needed. Sometimes people look at "doing nothin" as being unproductive and lazy or that you haven't accomplished anything significant. However, giving yourself a break allows your to continue to press forward. So do it and be glad that you did! Give yourself some grace and flip those negatives into positive experiences for yourself.
